Jainik Mehta

PhD Student in Robotics

I am a PhD student in Electrical and Computer System Engineering (ECSE) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, advised by Prof. Esen Yel. My research focuses on Drone Autonomy and Decision Making Under Uncertainty.

Before starting my PhD, I worked as Research Assistant at IIT Bombay for one year and prior to that I received my BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Technion Israel Institute of Technology. Feel free to look around to learn more about my work.

Drone Autonomy

Developing intelligent systems for unmanned aerial vehicles to perform complex tasks without human intervention.

Decision Making Under Uncertainty

Creating algorithms that allow robots to make optimal decisions in dynamic and unpredictable environments.

Reinforcement Learning

Applying reinforcement learning techniques to solve complex control problems in robotics.
